It is finely carved with a spiritual symbol ॐ (Om or Aum) in the middle. Om represents soul and self within. This bowl when played characterize creation, preservation, and liberation. Om itself is a mantra, its vibration is considered to have spiritual power.

The outside rim of the bowl is beautifully hand itched with the sacred mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, in Tibetan script. This powerful and pure mantra clears your mind, releases Karmas, empties your body, and brings awareness. It invokes the attention and blessings of Chenrezig, Avalokiteshvara. It features a sacred auspicious symbol a conch shell on its base surrounded by beautifully detailed lotus petals. A conch shell in Tibetan Buddhism represents music. It also represents the fame of the Buddha's teaching that awakens one from ignorance.

The fundamental note resonates with the Sacral Chakra. This is the center that guides partnerships and relationships. It is associated with emotion, pleasure, connection, and intimacy. The shape and thickness of the wall bring lasting vibration, producing a strong and rich tone.
